Nipped up to the Fintray Hill Climb yesterday afternoon - bit of a mixed bag though!
My phtoography just was not up to normal standard, I suspect I know why.
It was nice when we got there, lovely sunshine, but not the best photography wise and the lighting was playing havoc. Then the heavens opened, the lisghting really dim, more havoc!

Finally - Kay goes on the track!
Okay, so it wasn’t the best of times, but at least she did it despite Evo drivers saying to her ‘Bloody women drivers on track shouldn’t be allowed’ - but her lines in and out were spot on! Plus, I got ma car back in 1 piece!
She wants her own scoob now - oh no! lol
I did take her round at 1st, then when she said ‘oh this speed isn’t bad’ went faster, to screams of ‘oh no dinna like this’ rofl - think it was only because she was in control of the car though because she did enjoy her times on track - next stop Knockhill, move over guys!

Honeysuckle Summertime

At last my Honeysuckle is out and blooming - surely now Summer must be here right? I have this right by the front door over an arch and the smell at times is really lovely. The arch is a bit low down to be honest (My fault, dodgy DIY) and I keep asking myself should I take it down, but then I smell this and think ‘nah’

Well, the Fiesta S.I went for ti’s annual MOT today and … FAILED!!!! Arghhhh ….
A whole bloody list of stuff to be done to get it through, hell. It ranges from the bushes to wheel bearings to brake pipes and more! I did expect, given the age of the car, for some work needed to be done, but …
Oh well, have given the go ahead and it’s now getting doen, hopefully will be worth it and at least it will get another’s years use on the road. Once it is off the road for good, intentions are to turn it into a full race car, but that will be at least another year now lol.
The Scoob is in on Thursday as well, so it is fingers crossed now!

The SIDC are holding their annual day at Alford (Grampian Transport Museum) on Sunday 13th July.
Free entry, though we will be taking donations for our Santa Cruise on the gate as per the last few years
Static parking areas for visiting car clubs. Show and Shine competition.
Best of all, we’ll have the sprint track in use all day from about 10:30am to 4pm. £10 buys you unlimited runs around the track (by yourself).
It’s a great day out, so why not come along and have some fun and/or give you own car a spin!

Nature and a Flower with a difference - took me ages to get this anywhere near how I wanted it! Not to everyone’s taste I know, but I like it.
I have been messing about in Adobe Lightroom!
Had this idea for a photo from a flower and this is the end result, weird but beautiful (I think).

Well, I ‘think’ summer might be here at last (fingers crossed lol)
Lots of flowers are out, more in other peoples gardens than in mine though - my poor garden has been negleted over the past couple of years and am constantly having to chase the tigers out of the grass lol
Mental note to self - MUST do better in the garden and get it sorted!!!
